As we all know, fraudsters now use a variety of scams to gain access to personal information or other important documents. What is worrying is that today's scams all take a different picture.

Recently, the Department of Technology Crime received a series of reports from the public, our team would like to highlight the new tricks and techniques that criminals use to lure victims to agree to borrow money online as briefly as Below:

1. A crook has created a Facebook page or website under the name of an online loan company.

2- Perverted people advertise on Facebook pages or websites (Ads) on social media to attract the attention of the victims.

3. The victim can apply for a loan from a crook with simple terms by simply providing a photo, ID card, phone number, photo or nude photo of the victim.

4. Perpetrators will use identity card information, photos or nude videos to intimidate victims in case of non-payment or excessive payment of interest.

In some cases, the perpetrators used nude photos or videos of the victims to extort money or trade.

Once again, the team of the Department of Information Technology would like to remind the people to be very careful regarding the above types of crimes and to be careful in protecting personal information such as identity cards, bank cards, telephone numbers, addresses, photos or personal videos. Avoid sharing or sending to anyone without knowing the exact identity or source.
